About Dixfield Solar
Dixfield Solar is a 1.4‑megawatt community solar project delivering locally produced renewable energy to households and businesses across the Central Maine Power (CMP) service area. By feeding clean electricity into the grid, the project helps reduce Maine’s reliance on fossil fuels and supports the state’s long‑term climate goals.

Each year, Dixfield Solar helps avoid approximately 5,713 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions. This reduction contributes directly to cleaner air, a healthier environment, and a more sustainable energy future for Maine.

Our Founder
Nick Mazuroski
Founder, Dirigo Power
Nick has spent more than 15 years developing energy projects across North America and founded Dirigo Power to transition his business to owning and operating a reliable fleet of power generation assets.
He co-founded Dirigo Solar in Portland, Maine in 2015, and within a year the company had won the largest solar contract on record. Nick led development of the 108 MW Acadia Portfolio across ten sites, then built Dirigo's community solar platform from scratch—24 projects, 150+ MW, serving households, small businesses, and municipalities. That work earned his Company the Climate Leader Award as part of the Governor's Award for Business Excellence.
Today, Nick leads Dirigo Power, including the Dixfield Solar project. He sits on the boards of the BNIX entities—a partnership with BNRG Renewables and IMPAX New Energy Finance—and BD Solar Canada—a JV with BNRG developing 850 MW in Atlantic Canada—and co-founded Stonebrook Power, a development platform pursuing solar and battery storage across several states.
Before Dirigo, Nick ran operations for the Biomass Power Association, representing more than 2,000 MW of capacity nationwide. He studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University and holds a BA in Political Science from Bates College. He lives in Falmouth with his wife and three young children.
